What Happens on the Night
Please arrive early enough for swimmers to prepare and listen for their events. A short warm up is usually possible before racing begins.
Arrive and Prepare
Check that nominations are correct and allow time for a short warm up before the first race.
Listen for Marshalling
Swimmers should stay close enough to hear their event and report to marshalling when called.
Race and Enjoy
The focus is on racing experience, confidence, skill development and enjoying the evening with teammates.
Parents and Volunteers
Club Nights rely on support from families. Helping with one simple role makes a real difference and keeps the evening running smoothly.
How Parents Can Help
Volunteer roles may include timekeeping, marshalling, helping organise swimmers or assisting with the barbecue. No previous experience is required.
Timekeeping
Timekeepers use the Swim Club Connect app on their own smartphone. Please bring a fully charged phone. Instructions and assistance are provided on the night.
Children Must Be Supervised
A parent, carer or another responsible adult must remain with junior swimmers for the duration of Club Night.
